Product Description
Planetary Ball Mill Machine for Lab Nano Milling
The vertical planetary ball mill is an essential device for high-tech materials mixing, fine grinding, sample preparation, new product development, and small batch production. With its compact size, high efficiency, low noise operation, and versatile functionality, it's ideal for R&D institutions, universities, and enterprise laboratories to obtain samples (capable of processing four samples simultaneously).
When equipped with a vacuum ball mill tank, this machine can obtain powder samples under vacuum conditions. The planetary movement principle enables high-speed grinding with large energy transfer, resulting in extremely fine particle sizes down to 0.1 micron (1.0×10-4mm).
Working Principle
The planetary ball mill features four grinding jars mounted on a rotating turntable. As the turntable rotates, the jars perform planetary movements, creating strong impacts between the balls and samples at high speeds. This action efficiently grinds materials into fine powder using either dry or wet methods, achieving particle sizes as small as 0.1μm.
