During high-speed grinding, materials may generate heat due to friction or exothermic reactions, which can affect their physical and chemical properties and lead to undesirable grinding results.

This low temperature planetary ball mill is specially designed for grinding processes that require strict temperature control.

The equipment adopts an air-cooling refrigeration system based on air-conditioning compressor technology. The circulating cold air quickly removes heat generated during milling and can maintain the working temperature inside the grinding chamber at 5–15 °C depending on the ambient temperature.

It is widely used for ultrafine grinding of temperature-sensitive materials in laboratories and research institutions.
