High-Efficiency Planetary Ball Mill for Laboratory Material Grinding and Mixing
Advanced laboratory grinder equipment for efficient sample preparation, mixing, and fine grinding of high-tech materials.
The Planetary Ball Mill is a vertical-type milling machine specially developed for high-tech material mixing, fine grinding, sample preparation, new product development, and small-scale production.
Compact in design yet powerful in performance, this unit offers high efficiency, low noise, and flexible operation, making it an excellent choice for research institutes, universities, and laboratory applications.
It allows simultaneous processing of up to four samples in a single run, and when used with vacuum grinding jars, it can produce powder samples under vacuum conditions.
Its planetary motion principle delivers strong impact and frictional forces, ensuring uniform, thorough grinding and mixing of materials at high speed.

Choice of Grinding Jars & Grinding Balls
To minimize wear and ensure optimal performance, the hardness of the grinding jars and balls should always exceed that of the material being milled. In general, it is recommended to use grinding jars and balls made from the same material. The appropriate sizes of jars and balls can be determined through experimental testing if needed.
A variety of materials are available, including stainless steel, zirconia, alumina, polyurethane (PU), carbon steel, tungsten carbide, agate, hard metal, silicon nitride, high wear-resistant steel, manganese steel, cemented carbide, crystal glass, and other special metallic materials.

Product Construction & Working Principle
Inner Structure
KINGDA planetary ball mills feature dust-resistant cast iron construction with a one-piece casting molding process for the main disk, significantly extending equipment lifespan compared to conventional splicing methods.
Working Principle
The planetary ball mill operates similarly to planetary motion in the solar system. Four or two ball mills positioned eccentrically on a turntable perform simultaneous rotation and revolution (1:2 ratio). This motion generates strong Coriolis forces, creating intense impact and friction that efficiently grind samples to powder as fine as 0.1μm.
Additional FAQs
Q: What's your smallest lab model?
A: Our 0.2L planetary ball mill (Model XQM-0.4A) measures 42*30*26cm and weighs 20kg, with larger models available up to 100L capacity.
Q: What maintenance does the equipment require?
A: We use specialized wear-resistant gears for reduced noise without oil seal leakage risks. Models above XQM-20 use oil seals with proper maintenance protocols.
Q: What are your payment terms?
A: 30% deposit via T/T with 70% balance against B/L copy, or 100% L/C at sight. We provide product photos and B/L copies before final payment.
