The Planetary Ball Mill is a vertical-type milling machine specially developed for high-tech material mixing, fine grinding, sample preparation, new product development, and small-scale production.
Compact in design yet powerful in performance, this unit offers high efficiency, low noise, and flexible operation, making it an excellent choice for research institutes, universities, and laboratory applications.

It allows simultaneous processing of up to four samples in a single run, and when used with vacuum grinding jars, it can produce powder samples under vacuum conditions.
Its planetary motion principle delivers strong impact and frictional forces, ensuring uniform, thorough grinding and mixing of materials at high speed.

Working Principle
The planetary ball mill operates similarly to planetary motion in the solar system. Four or two ball mills positioned eccentrically on a turntable perform simultaneous rotation and revolution (1:2 ratio). This motion generates strong Coriolis forces, creating intense impact and friction that efficiently grind samples to powder as fine as 0.1μm.
