Laboratory Planetary Ball Mill with 0.1um Granularity, 72 Hours Continuous Operation, and Electricity Power for Precise Grinding
The Planetary Ball Mill is a vertical laboratory mill engineered for precise material mixing, fine grinding, sample preparation, and nanomaterial dispersion. Featuring a compact design with high efficiency and quiet operation, it provides versatile performance, making it an ideal solution for laboratories in research institutions, universities, and industrial sectors.
The machine processes four samples simultaneously and can operate under vacuum conditions when fitted with a vacuum milling jar. Its planetary motion mechanism enables efficient and uniform grinding through high-speed rotation.

Choice of Grinding Jars & Grinding Balls
To prevent excessive abrasion, grinding jars and balls must be harder than the processed material. Normally, jars and balls should be the same material, with sizes determined experimentally when needed.
Available materials include stainless steel, zirconia, alumina, PU, tungsten, agate, silicon nitride, manganese steel, cemented carbide, and crystal glass.

Product Construction & Working Principle
Inner Structure
KINGDA planetary ball mills feature dust-resistant cast iron construction with a one-piece casting molding process for the main disk, significantly extending equipment lifespan compared to conventional splicing methods.
Working Principle
The planetary ball mill operates similarly to planetary motion in the solar system. Four or two ball mills positioned eccentrically on a turntable perform simultaneous rotation and revolution (1:2 ratio). This motion generates strong Coriolis forces, creating intense impact and friction that efficiently grind samples to powder as fine as 0.1μm.
